Yes, the crown on the picture I posted above ^ is different from all other official pictures. I suspect that is a pre-release unit.
All other pictures, including this hi-res image on the US website, suggests the crown is this type:

I'd say that the photo posted with the new crown is the right one (it's a real photo) and the image above is a Computer-generated image that showed an earlier idea.

Is it just me, or does the bezel seem slimmer than the 43mm?

Not just you. When I first saw pictures of the blue model, the first thing I noticed was a slimmer looking bezel and a smaller font on the bezel. Hallelujah!!
