I think reducing this movement platform to fit a 41mm case would be perfect.

The important thing is that it is being used again indicating that this sort of thing isn't completely dead.

Yes. not sure which strap will be offered on the final model- the official shot looks to have a different strap to the one shown at Basel.

@drunken monkey agree with that. Not sure on the diameter of the movement..will try and find it. The original Mikrograph was 43mm, so it certainly fits in a smaller case than 45mm.

I probably should have made a bigger deal of the price- to come in at less than half of the 2011 price (OK, stainless steel vs. Gold) makes a huge difference in accessibility. Now if they could find a way to get that down to $10k...

It's great to see this technology coming in at a lower price point, but the 2011 Mikrograph is a much, much nicer looking watch, IMO, even ignoring the difference in case material.
