New order missing crown

just took delivery today of Formula 1 model personalised for a Christmas present. However I noticed that crown was missing and located this lying inside watch box. Waiting on email reply from customer service as no option available to return order given I have personalised the watch. Will a repair be sufficient. Feel disappointed that the watch arrived already faulty. Thanks for advice in advance.

you should be able to put this under the warranty. Whether TAG repair's the watch or sends you a new one will be on them once you send it in for repair under warranty

Thanks for this. Seems unfair that I will now own a repaired watch for something that was delivered with a fault but as I had it personalised with inscription they may argue against a replacement. Kind of takes the shine off something that was to be a special Christmas present.

Assuming the rear of the case was personalised they could just swop that onto a new watch and send you that?

They'll just screw it back on. It's a trivial job (but it does require stem removal, so don't try it at home, kids).
