Anyone have a tip for me who happens to have an exact copy or something similar to the brown leather watch strap which comes with the new Heuer Autavia? I bought the BOR band with the watch and want to switch back and forth. Preferable, EU dealers if you know of any. Thanks in advance.

My suggestion is to have a custom made strap with your choice of leather and color.
And it might be a cheaper alternative.

The Autavia has a 21mm lug width, and choices are not as abundant as let's say 20 or 22.

Suggest you log yourself onto Instagram and look for photos of people wearing their new Autavias, if you see a strap you like you can DM them and ask where they got it.

Believe it or not, maybe even try Etsy if the custom made route is what you may explore.

Ended up getting a vintage strap similar to original delivered with the watch if purchased on leather strap. I have to say I am glad I purchased with the metal band. Somehow it just fits this watch so much better than leather. Will alternate now and again but I think I am going to stick more to the metal verses leather. To each his own I guess.

I had wrist time with the leather strap and it didn't win me over, although it was slightly lighter on the prototype I had compared to production, it's still too light/tan for my liking.

Now having the BOR/GOR on the JH85 Autavia it feels far nicer and more complete somehow. I am certain in other colours a leather strap would work for me, but not the original one.

Agree with the guys above Aaron (combat-straps and Aaron Bespoke) offers great straps. Another of my favourite is Heuerville straps by Stewart, they are absolutely lovely. After selecting custom straps I'm not sure I'd buy any leather strap off the shelf again, unless something specialised. Another to look at is DB10 straps by James Hyman. I've not got any from him yet, but they're also lovely and great quality I hear.

I love metal bracelets. I live in Florida and leather, NATO etc can get sticky and can absorb sweat making it an unpleasant experience. Your watch looks great with that bracelet.

You can wash NATOs just like any piece of garment.
I find them very versatile and practical, not to mention bank-friendly.

Don’t get me wrong, I love NATO straps they look great and I agree they won’t break the bank.
