As discussed over at the Auctions thread, I was the highest bidder on this Carrera Ennstal Classic LE from 2005- only 50 of these were made, and along with the 40th Anniversary Carrera, is one of the only Carreras from this generation to use the two-register Calibre 17 Chronograph layout.

The photos on eBay were a little scratchy...looked like the case was dirty and that the strap might need to be replaced...but no, it's basically perfect. The strap was clearly sized, but I'm not sure this has ever been worn...no need to do anything.

Thanks..yes, very happy. Also confirms two things for me:
1. 39mm is the perfect size for a Carrera (at least for me....)
2. The new Glassbox case is better than the old 39mm case (again, personal preference...I know some don't like the glassbox)

Nice, I thought about tossing a bid in for it but I don't think I'd have enjoyed it as much as you will. Looking forward to seeing more!

Thanks team. Day 2 I've fitted the Carrera Telemeter strap- I've come to the conclusion that I'm a bit boring when it comes to straps (swapping out the different/ unique straps for standard black!)

Will definitely get those comparison photos...I'm travelling the next two weeks, so will take me a while..

Nice find David. Unfortunately 39mm is just to small for my giant wrists which dictates what I can and can't buy as I need to wear all the watches I buy.
