That's cause TAG has been a major sponsor of Porsche's racing activities for some time now - title sponsor of their Formula E team, title sponsor of the new E-sports version of the Carrera Supercup, on-and-off sponsor of their factory GT teams, etc.

This one isn't about motorsports

So I suppose Honda's F1 engines will not be presented as Porsche engines for future use by Red Bull then...

What are we talking about then? Just some new colors of the 44 mm "sporty" Carrera?

If it's a limited watch with Porsche on the dial that would be pretty cool, collectable and probably benefitting the reputation of TAG Heuer. Something like the Heuer Audi Sport in the 80s... Or like the collaborations with Mercedes.
But I am not so deep into Motorsports to judge this.

Don鈥檛 know what to expect but I hope it entails more than a Porsche branded Carrera chronograph. That would hardly count as the biggest partnership ever. Watches with Porsche on the dial are usually cheap quartz merchandise. Porsche Design have some great watches however. We鈥檒l know soon 馃憤

While i got nothing against Honda F1 engines. Sometimes i do wish Max get a Ferrari or Mercedes engine that might fully maximize his potential. But maybe Porsche will do to. Finger crossed.

It's nothing more than a Chrono.
I think many will be disappointed for all the Hype that's being made.

I don't mind a chrono so long as it isn't some giant sport version. Or at least do a sport and an Elegant (god I hate that stupid moniker for what should just be called a Carrera).

I鈥檓 excited of the TAG Heuer x Porsche partnership! I hope it is a great enough excuse so I can finally ask my wife if we can buy a 1:1 Porsche 馃槻馃槜馃榿馃槣 For now, I鈥檒l settle with the 1:18 馃槈
