I’ve bought this vintage heuer and the 30 minute counter is sticking, the Crystal needs replacing and there is a bit of dirt between the lugs. I can send to tag heuer but that would be a last resort so can anyone recommend someone to do the work. I am based in the Midlands, England.

In the UK there are numerous vintage watch specialists that come well recommended.

Two of the most mentioned for vintage watch servicing especially Heuer models would be Richard Askham (http://thewatchspotblog.com/) and Nic Greene (chronomatic.com).

I personally don’t have experience with either, but a quick google will show many happy customers of both gents. There are others also in the UK that are highly regarded too, just these two names seem to pop up most often.

I bought my first heuer off nic, the one with the blue dial ref 73473 that no one was 100% about. Unfortunately he is not taking anymore work on. I’ve sent a photo to tag heuer in Switzerland but I expect a quote of more than the watch cost.

 

Hi Chef, Tag may well be pricey but not ludicrous in every case, from what I've seen. I thoroughly recommended Richard Askham but try not to too much as he gets very busy. The would also suggest Duncan Hewitt- https://thewatchbloke.co.uk/ but again, you'll be in for a long wait for it.
Have a browse through https://forum.tz-uk.com/forum.php and you'll undoubtedly find some recommendations.

I agree with Gambba though-no cause for concern; there are also versions with the blank right subdial too so I don't see an issue.
