I just joined this forum after finally finding a site about Tags (my favorite watch).

I came across this purported Tag being sold in a local online ad. I'm not familiar with ever seeing logo script on the side (as shown in the photo) and am wondering if this is some sort of knock-off or a fake, or whether it is worth checking out. It needs some repair, but it might be worth the investment if it's unique enough. Anyone recognize this and have any info they can share about it? Is it worth buying?

I'd be quite concerned if it needs repair, if there's movement damage or something that has to go back the the factory for replacement parts the service could cost more than the watch is worth in running condition.

The watch looks like Ref CAH1113.
