Hi guys, quick question. Does anyone know if TAG is still making the Monza or if they have reached their 'limited edition' quota?

Thanks!

Good question; David @Calibre11 might need to ask them this week during his visit to Baselworld.

It's still available at many retailers and online.

Yes, they stepped back from making this a numbered limited edition...my guess would be that its not still being made, but that doesn't mean that they can't be found!

Thanks guys. Too bad they didn't make this a true limited edition watch; could of added some value to it down the road. I'll keep wearing mine and not worry too much about it then.

I guess we'd always prefer fewer watches...but I'm not sure we always see a premium for limited editions versus more broadly available models- for example, the Silverstone and the Calibre 36 Monza with the white dial.

I think it's the marketing hype that gets everyone into a frenzy when something is a limited edition. Good case would be the Monaco 40th limited edition but then they offer the Monaco Calibre 11 donw the road or the recent online only Omega limited edition Speedy Tuesday which is pretty much any other Speedmaster....

It's probably around $360 dlls. Call TAG Heuer to get an exact price.

Interested to hear experiences of owners... what's it like to wear over a period of time. I love the look but suspect it might be a little big?

Still enjoying mine. The only time it feels too big is when I place it next to the old 2000 Calibre 17 Monza

Thanks. So it doesn't 'get in the way' of sleeves etc?

Ps I was gonna delete and move original post to the 2016 monza thread but you got in too quick!

It's not a very thick case- see below. In fact, i think its the same thickness as that 2000 Monza

I'm very tempted. I really like the original 70s edition but as a daily/regular wear it seems more logical to go for the re-edition....
