Monaco Caliber 11 Unusual Hands

Can any one tell me why this model has all white hands.
Every other one I have seen has Red and White Hands
It is listed as Vintage Limited Edition and comes with a handsome wooden presentation box with Heuer Markings.
I have scrolled through all the pictures I can find of Monaco's and every other one I have seen like this has the red and white hands.
Any info would be apprecited before I buy it and later find out it is not legit.

I'm not sure if the exact version of CAW211D as shown above was released- note the square-bottom sub-dial hands.

This watch first appeared in late 2011 as a boutique special. This was later expanded to all dealers, but not sure if those first models have the square hands and the later have the round-bottom hands

All the ones I've seen have the rounded subdial hands. Would be interested to know if the square subdial hands ever made it to the production models.

Is it a private seller, ebay listing, or did you check the watch at a local store?

I sense a disturbance in the Force; what if this was a Calibre 12 with the dial switched? Do you have back photos?

Can't be that- crown is on the other side! But you're right that something else could be going on...certainly worth getting more photos

This is an E-Bay listing and seller has 358 positive feed backs and is listed as being in Florida.
Says it is in new and unworn condition and shows all books and warranty cards. There are only photos of the face of the watch no rear pictures
it is a buy it now price $3600 .
Seller looks legit but must admit the hands leave me wondering if it is authentic.

I have sent the seller an e-mail yesterday morning asking if he can shed any light on why the hands are different but so far no reply

My bad - I omitted this detail... 😬

I found the listing on the bay; everything around the watch looks legit.

Agree- re: the watch, there no obvious signs of anything unusual..apart from the hands.

Note that this is not the correct box- this is the box used for CAW211B back in 2010

I don't know, nowadays there are so many perfect replicas... This one, for example, looks "strange" to me but I can't tell you why.
I discovered a site, called trusted.com that allows you to check serial numbers, and the one in the auction looks not genuine.

This one should be easy to solve- the watch comes with a Trusted Certificate.

Did you get the serial number from the seller? If so, you can verify it here: https://www.trusted.com/market/

I believe that you only get a Trusted.com certificate when you buy in the US/ Canada- so watches from other countries won't be on the database. There are certainly questions to be asked about that watch (box + hands), but ultimately, the watch itself does not look like a replica, even if its not 100% original
