Monaco Cal. 12 - problems with data disc

Hi everybody,

i recently purchased a Monaco Calibre 12 just serviced by an indipendent watchmaker of the seller. I really don't know how good was this watchmaker but the watch arrivived with the disc not alligned (it was at right so 31 was just like a "3").

My watchmaker tried to solve the problem, the disc now it's pretty good from 1 to 9 and from 20 to 31... but as you can see the disc is too aligned at left.

My watchmaker say this kind of movement is really hard to fix. Now i sent the watch in Tag Heuer. Anyone had some similar problems? Do you think Tag Heuer official center will fix the problem?

Hopefully, TH can align the date wheel properly.

I have a Cal 12 which I bought new in 2011. The date was just ever so slightly off center, but not enough that I felt it needed to be fixed. I had the watch serviced by TH about 2 years ago, it came back with the date perfectly centered. Which was a pleasant surprise, since I made no mention of the date wheel when I sent it off to be serviced.

If you purchased it from an Authorized Dealer, TAG Heuer might just replace the entire movement under warranty.

Thank you. The watch was bought in 2010 and serviced in 2019 not in tag heuer, so it isn’t new and not in warranty. The watch is in good condition I hope tag Huer services can check it and solve this problem. I think the main problems for independent watchmaker is to find spare parts so I hope the watch will be accurately controlled and if it’s needed I will pay for an official service to have it back like new.

Had issues with the date disc albeit on a Carrera 360, once as worse as it not changing anymore, another time changing every 25 hours. TH service centers always were able to solve it.

Thank you! Hope TH service solve my problem too. Watch works perfectly but i hate look at the dial and see the date not aligned!
