The last Monaco piece I bought was years ago, the Gulf Edition in Grey dial, Calibre 12, during an overseas holiday. Last weekend, dropped into HK Tag Heuer boutique in IFC and was offered the Steve McQueen re-edition model with left hand crown and matt blue dial. Unless the re-edition model is true to many aspects, I normally give it a pass but this particular one gave me a plus because I missed out on the 40th Anniversary Monaco and of course, the real McQueen. Apart from round pushers and 12 hr register, this re-edition's price is affordable, and a Calibre 11, the strap buckle is also different from the modern version, HEUER, nice touch...

Nice pair. I love the Heritage TAG Heuer Monacos. I feel very lucky to have the full house.

2015 McQueen (CAW211P) on the left, the 40th Anniversary (CAW211A) on the right.

The silver (CAW211C)

And the stripped McQueen (CAW211D)

Looking forward to the upcoming GULF edition later this year to add to the collection.

Some great Monacos here. I'm anxious to see what the Gulf Edition for this year looks like.. I hope that the final colour choice is more consistent

Considering getting a Monaco.... I have a Monza. Not sure whether to go for the latest version (if available here in Australia...)

Clearly i havent been doing my homework

But just to avoid any pebble stone before pulling the trigger, what is the obvious difference between these two ?

UPDATE EDIT: there were other thread discussing this already. Cheers

Yes, those two are mine. The 2005 model on the left, the 40th Anniversary on the right.
