I just received my Monaco back from service (LVMH Springfield NJ). I thought I’d write a bit about it for those who might be thinking of sending their TAG in for service.
My Monaco was made in 2010 and I purchased it used in 2019. I doubt it had a service before I bought it so I decided to send it in. It was running 22SPD slow and winding did not feel as smooth as it should be.
My watch is registered with TAG so it was easy to request service from their website. I can also follow the progress of the service on the site.

I shipped it to them on 1/7/25.
They received it on 1/10/25.
I received a “Diagnostic in Progress” email on 1/17/25.
I received a “Quotation Ready” email on 1/28/25.

At this point, I reviewed the quote and agreed to the price and paid. You must pay up front for the service. The price, as of this writing, is $570 USD for an M2 complete service. With my county/state tax (NY) at 8.125%, $616.31.

Any parts needed are extra. I wanted to keep my watch “as is” so I opted out for a new crystal, strap, etc.

This is what comes with a $570 complete service.

BEZEL GASKET
BACK CASE CRYSTAL GASKET
BACK GASKET
GASKET FOR CROWN
PUSHER GASKET O'RING
PUSHER GASKET O'RING
SPRING BAR

M2. COMPLETE SERVICE

The complete overhaul includes the following operations:
Diagnostic and dismantling of the complete watch
Movement overhaul or replacement, reassembling, oiling and regulation
Replacement of wearing components, consumables and battery replacement (quartz watches)
Ultrasonic cleaning of case & bracelet parts
Light buffing of metal surfaces or complete refurbishing (optional)
Water-resistance renewal including gaskets
Final control as per factory specifications

SERVICE WARRANTY:
All services are covered for 24 months on the maintenance performed and replaced components.

Here are the extras offered to me based on their diagnostic….
OPTION - POLISHING SERVICE $108.13
MIDDLE CASE: SATIN-FINISHED P $637.94
SAT STEEL BEZEL WITH CRYSTAL $313.56
BLUE CROCO LEATHER FOLD.BUCKLE $335.19

I received an email on 2/5/25 stating that all parts are now available and the end of the repair is anticipated to be between April 21st and April 25th 2025.

Received an email on 3/27/25 stating that my service is complete (much sooner than their estimate). I inquired if I could pick it up at their location in Springfield NJ (I’m about an hour away) but it is not opened to the public.

They shipped it on 3/27 and I received it the next day on 3/28 via FedEx 2nd day air.

It arrived in a clam shell service pouch (pictured below).

They also included the old gaskets and spring bars.

Movement overhaul or replacement
were you informed about if they serviced the movement or simply just put a brand new one in your watch?

Wasn't informed either way. To be honest, I never even thought about it. I would think that they would service the original movement but who knows?

Thanks for sharing. I've got a few of my Monacos serviced from LVMH UK and have not been disappointed. Hope you enjoy the watch for many more years
