Hello Hubert,
thanks for sharing. I had expected Ford already this year. But
we have to be patient. With Chip Ganassi the project is in good
hands.
So far we can observe the Nismos. I heard that in qualifying
the best positions went to Porsche, Audi and Toyota.
But 24 hours are a long time.
I have reserved an good place in front of our TV.
(I have good luck, in Germany football has
hollidays in summer, so no discussion necessary at home.)
I hope, we get some of our favourits through. For them the
night will be long. For us, it might be short.

Hello Hubert,
nice video. The sound of the engine reminds me of the short film "C' était un rendevouz" by Claude Lelouche. He had taken a
film in the streets of Paris with a Mercedes. Later they decided that the sound of the Mercedes engine was not strong enough.
So they made a sound track using a Ferrari. That sounded much better.
The race this weekend was a surprise to me. Although Porsche was my favourite, I had expected Audi and Toyota much stronger.
Bad luck for the Nismos. But the first time in Le Mans with a completely new car is usually for learning and not yet for winning.
Hope they will return next year.

Well, I enjoyed the Porsche 918 in the Gulf Design. But my dream is to see a 919 in the Gulf desing (sponsoring by Gulf accepted) to win the 24 hours of Le Mans. This would continue a story of earlier days. So the story of Steve McQueen, TAGHeuer and Porsche could continue.
