As some of you may know, Heuer announced the Chronomatic movement simultaneously in New York and Geneva on this date almost 50 years ago- 200 Park Ave at the time was the Pan Am Building.

As it so happens, I'll be in NYC on March 2 during the day, so if any NY locals want to catch up somewhere nearby 200 Park Ave it could make for a good location to mark the (almost) 50th Anniversary.

I'll be in NY next week but have to fly out early Saturday to make a Sunday meeting back here in CA. Would have been really cool to stage some kind of event on March 3rd!

I think we should all post pictures of our "Calibre 11" watches that day to celebrate. Even if the new ones are just branded that way. 🤔

Hah, you’re right to be suspicious, but on this occasion it is 100% a coincidence. There’s no event in NYC on that weekend that I’m aware of. 🙁

That is damn shame.... yes I’ll post a pic for sure. The calibre 12 and 15 are part of the Chronomatics after all.
