Not exactly a thrilling new release, but I do like the grey dial version quite a bit!

These remind me a lot of the Heuer/TAG Heuer 3000 models in particular.

So they’re keeping the old Defy case as well then.

I'm not a fan of steel bezels but I have to say those are waaaay better than the 43mm models. Wish they'd gone with those dials + markers for all models.

That blue one is gorgeous! The renders looked like **** to me so a huge surprise. If these are £2100 that's a bit of a jump from the old models though...

They have a comic book appeal which I rather like. If you have a blue 2000, which was the obvious inspiration here, then you don’t need this one. I expect these will sell well. I’d take the brown grey one though.

I think I need to see those in the metal, the dial colours are going to be a love or hate thing. I think I love them, but I'm not quite sure.

They are a nice update on the classic steel AR and I'm a lot happier with the more traditional markers and lack of cyclops - the no date on the quartz seems a nice touch too. I still don't love the sub-esque teeth on the bezel and the look is a little royal-oaky, but overall it's a big step forward from the 43mm

I like them better than the renders but oddly think they could look great with matching dial & bezel. I for one do like the new hands and markers on the 43mm.

Might pick one up in a while. Problem with these cakes is that if you want them 30% cheaper you’ll never be sure they were actually baked in Switzerland.

And hands

I think the hands are all right on the 43, they look about as good as these do imo

I like the new Aquaracer! Much better than the 43's. It's got the right mix of retro & modern for me, plus the dreaded Cyclops is gone. I wouldn't mind one of these at all, price is pretty reasonable at $2500. My favorite is the grey taupe looking dial.
