Just got this in the mail last week and have been wearing it non-stop! I showed it to my dad, who is only casually into watches and gave me a Tag Heuer professional back in 2012, and he goes “is this Tag Heuer? How come the Tag is missing? Is it fake?” LMAO I still can’t get over it.

Great watches. I think the value of them would be far higher if more people realised what movement was inside. I guess the 36mm diameter puts some off too. However, when I showed my Dad the CS3110, he commented that he thought it looked big. I think he was mainly referring to the thickness. He prefers thin (and hence quartz) watches for comfort and for years wore an Omega quartz.

Yeah I thought it was cool that it’s essentially the same movement as the Speedmaster. Having the curse of a small wrist the 36mm is perfect for me. But I see where your dad is coming from because mechanicals are generally a lot thicker than quartz so it took a bit for my wrist to get used to mechanical watches.

My wife calls my CS3112 "elegant" because it's so small. Would love it even more at 39mm. And maybe one at 41mm for @Hubert.

    The later automatics are 39mm.

Yeah, but not in salmon / copper. Here’s my 39mm.

I must say that I have a soft spot for the re-editions from the 1990s, too. For my small wrist they are just the right size – like the vintage Carreras. In fact my very first Carrera was the all black one, CS 3111. From there, I moved on to the vintage Carreras, which easily can become addictive. So please beware ;-)

It's the complete set of the chronographs, yes. They also did automatic 3-handers and a GMT model at the time. But these don't have much connection to the original Carrera, except for the shape of the case.

No need to be jealous. In the end, you can only wear ONE watch at a time. I find myself walking around with a simple 3647 S on the wrist most of the time :)
