Looking for a ballpark valuation on (I think) a Heuer RallyMaster

OnTheDash <http://www.onthedash.com/> was founded to record and provide information about the dashboard timers although it is mainly known for Heuer wrist chronographs now. A post to the discussion forum should elicit some information. There is an accompanying sales forum and that would be a good place to advertise. A search for Monte Carlo threw up a few for sale starting for a few hundred USD going into some thousands for pairs like yours. It's not a big market so you may have to wait for someone prepared to give you a good price. My rallying days ended over 40 years ago and I would have loved to have used a set of clocks like that!

Many thanks, I did find them, their forum looked like a nightmare to post in lol. I found the guy that runs it on facebook (via his link on the site) and messaged him, so might hear something back.

The Master Time is the valuable one as a piece, but as a pair on a Heuer signed backing plate then you will be looking for good strong money.

Hard to value as not often available, but highly desirable, especially for anyone restoring a classic car (Porsches especially). Maybe $4-6k or more would be possible.

Thanks man, just the struggle now of finding someone willing to buy 'as is'

Post on the chronotrader forum (onthedash) and state every detail you can find and the pictures and invite people to make you an offer above X amount. Highest offer over the next few weeks wins.

If you’re looking for the most, keep doing your checks and getting valuations from various people. Then take a decision if it’s worth getting the stopwatch sorted or not. Don’t rush it would be my suggestion.....or I’ll give you a few dollars and save you the headaches 😝

I for one wouldn’t have these going anywhere and would get a leather plinth made to hold them at 30-45 degrees and keep it as a desk clock. They’re lovely.

Good luck.
