I'm assuming, hopefully correctly, that as they don't get shipped till mid September, they are yet to be signed and put in a presentation frame or something. Would explain why there isn't an actual photo of the item.

Getting a squad signed shirt with proper certificates and not those prepared by third party is actually quite the rarity and fetch high values. That's because Utd don't actually sell or authorise them. They only do a handful a year for charity.

You see some on eBay and are very dubious. These don't command high values.

...unless you're a Man U fan
Exactly. I'm not one of them, but respect to each one's passion. Besides, proceeds go to the Manchester charity fund.

Yes indeed. Apart from the first month (the Autavia book), the offerings haven't been very watch orientated though.

In agreement there. Let's hope next month's offering goes back to horology.

Not to be overly critical here. But isn't it better that the racing helmet signed by a real F1 driver now that Tag Heuer owned a team ?

To be precise, TAG Heuer has never "owned an F1 Team".

In the olden days, the TAG group (which previously owned a majority stake in TAG Heuer, prior to the sale & acquisition by LVMH) was a large investor in McLaren.

Now a days, the current partnership with RED Bull Racing F1 Team grants TAG Heuer limited and time-delimited rights to appear as the engine's naming sponsor.

Then, isn't better to have the signature of the Red Bull Racing Driver ? 😉

Next one is an auction and it happens tomorrow at 4pm CEST. http://tag.hr/MondayMonday

And this one isn't watch orientated either ::facepalm1::.

If TAG made a towel, half of you would moan that it's too big, it should be made of weathered calf-skin and should come in a box with Steve McQueen's face on it. And it probably should say 'Heuer' on it, in red, and look... used.

I mean, I can see that they have made a towel, but, you know... sarcasm.😉

No wait, I bet TAG didn't actually make that towel did they, they just bought a towel and put their name on it, not like in the good old days, Jack would never have allowed that! 😲
