There are 'boutiques' in Australia (not TAG Heuer) that are operated by 3rd parties.

I don’t think this is an uncommon trend. Especially for those other than the flagship boutiques outside the capitol cities. Omega Boutigues outside London arenoperated by 3rd partes too.

Tip: The third party ones are more likely to discount.

Hadn't seen this one. That oversized minute hand looks a bit out of place. Not sure about the red TH shield badge either.

New to me as well. Quite like it...you can only ever change a few things with most of these LEs, so some effective changes there. Wow, 500! That's a big run for a single jeweler.

Is the minute hand oversized? I think it just looks bigger because it's red...

You are correct. It's the same hand as the standard model, just painted and matte, which gives the appearance that it's larger.

I like the fact that TAG uses the 500 number in the Tachymeter as part of the INDY 500 name. Nice touch.

The Beaverbrooks website is showing this as out of stock already.... wonder if it's actually sold out or whether they just haven't received the next batch yet. Had a very interesting conversation with a guy in Harrods yesterday about Tudor and the waiting lists for the Pepsi and the Harrods Special Edition... also they had the Autavia Harrods edition, which still doesn't look particularly Harrodsy. Apparently the next trend for Harrods Special Editions is rainbow bezels and the sales guy reckons TAG are one of the companies doing one....
