·So this is just old stock reused with a new seconds hand applied...? Our local AD:s have had the phantom versions in stock forever, wonder if they are more popular in other countries. My guess would be nope

At school I was a hooker -- only position in which I could see the ball due to being somewhat short sighted. But I still keep half an eye on rugby. Well more like a quarter of an eye -- at 14st Dan's a big bloke for a fly-half or am I just out of touch with the modern game?
In the day when the local rugby club was a good place to watch a match and sink a pint or three I was once persuaded to run touch-line judge due to shortage of anyone else there. My dad ran Sponge and Bucket of Cold Water every match. Well I could run touch with my glasses on, so OK I'll do it. Except since I had last actually played rugby the touch judge's signals had changed and I was therefore awarding all touch calls to the wrong side. Ooops 😬 After the Ref had a word with me I learned not to assume about regulations staying the same year to year. Helped me with my then active sport -- being a navigator on car rallies. Yay, Heuer Carrera on the wrist and doing exactly what I needed at the time.

I think you might be a little out of touch. Rugby Union players are all big lads these days, including the fly half and wings.

·Rugby reminds me of times when i was living at aussie. I don't know much but it was always a good time when All Blacks come visit !

·Was looking in the window of my local AD the other day and found one of Dan Carter's LE in the window.
Tried it on and and as others have mentioned, the differences between this LE and the off the shelf Phantom are the white seconds hand
and the signature of Dan on the back. Being a kiwi myself, I have a great appreciation for Dan Carter as he has been a great All Black for many years.
It just seems to me like this is an after thought, with such a subtle change from the normal version and only 10 Pieces (His playing number is #10) and may I say, a watch box that looked like it came out of the copy factory in china. Come on Tag...you can do better than that.
Wasn't really tempted at all at $7000 NZD but I'm sure there are people who love him much more than I do who may be.

I agree that this is strictly for Man U fans...but according to the press release there are 659 million (!) of them, so it's not a bad bet 👍

Actually, looking at it again... it's not THAT bad actually. It's not great, but it's not a complete embarrassment.
