Hi guys,

Today i realized something on my Monza. It seems like the hand of the chrono is a bit off centered.

Now i don't know if it just my feeling or it really is. I also don't remember when this happened. Obviously if it was like that since the start, it missed my attention. But i doubt it. I am quite an OCD person.

So without further due, here is the picture. Concentrate on the left sub dial and let me know what you guys think

Thanks in advance

Looks OK to me but difficult to tell from a 2D photo taken at a slight angle. Besides, I've never really known a chrono hand (or second hand for that matter) to be 100% centered on any watch I've owned, but that's likely because it's very rare that you look at it dead-on in real life anyway.

Obviously off 馃槻 what have you done with it?

This is why I could never own a cheramic bezel Aquaracer, the bezel is so often not centrered above 12 which would bug the hell out of me.

Well well Otto, what has been seen can never be unseen. Try to enjoy all the other nice things about the awesome Monza 馃榾

You know, I was having the same thoughts about the hands on my Calibre S, when you put the hands into chrono mode they're a bit behind 12, but then I saw a video on Watchfinder and they had a JLC that was exactly the same, so I figured, you probably have to spend an extraordinary amount of money to get perfection.

Looks to me as if the centre second hand is also off to the right. Which then suggests that if the camera is even slightly to the left of the dial's centre than what you are seeing is the result of a parallax effect on both.

Me, I don't look at hi-res photos of my watches any longer, too much damage shows up that is totally unnoticable to the eye under normal circumstances. Doesn't stop me looking at other peoples' photos and chuckling that "those lugs have more dings than mine" etc, or if they're better "that's been photoshopped 馃槨 ".

In any case the hands (AIUI) are a friction fit anyway. In something so small in diameter even a slight knock in exactly the wrong direction could move the hand slightly. Cure for that is to knock it in exactly the opposite direction with exactly the same impact force. Easy-peasy 馃檮

The only hassle that i really hate is that going to TH service center in here is a nightmare.

The parking space so small that the wall full of scratch from cars trying to get in and out. So like horror movie.
I'll try to take picture next time i go there.

If we can lets do some vote here. Considering my warranty still on. Should i take it to the service center ?

My Aquaracer was perfect ! But the time keeping was average at best. I could have it regulated, i think. But i was impatient. I still sometimes regret it a bit.

This Monza however, I bought it from a friend who trade this for Elprimero. Guess what, we both tested it on so many occasions and this Monza keep better time than the Elprimero.
