Oh boy. There will be TH #5 in the collection soon!
Found a 2000 Exclusive with box and papers on eBay listed as “needs TLC”. I sent the seller a low offer thinking they’d counter it, but they just accepted it!

It just arrived today. Everything looks like it’s in good working order. The ETA 251.262 functions as it should, but the bracelet was missing a spring bar, and it’s in need of a light polishing of the bezel.

I’m in the process of re-brushing the bracelet and polishing the bezel, but here’s a quick shot of everything drying. I’ll post up some more photos when I’m done!

No photo of the watch head?

Looking forward to seeing the final results.

I was reading Aquagraph’s write up on the 2000 exclusive models last night. What a read! I have to say, this bracelet is freaking SWEET. I’m already digging this watch, and I haven’t even worn it yet.

It's a fantastic bracelet... and I just sold the same watch a few weeks ago (I still have a blue one and a two tone/silver dial).
It's come up great, there is one little thing though. I don't know how easy it would be or if you are bothered, but the square centre links should be polished.

But only the ones between the links, apologies if you have but in your pic it looks like they are brushed.

It's not like it matters, but it does look really cool! If it's not a nightmare (which it could well be!)
😁

Thank you all!! And yes indeed! You are 100% correct! I tend to brush out all my bracelets. I can’t stand polished center links haha.

It's a lot easier, and more practical. The polished links are very scratchable.
