Thanks! 👍
Happy if I find a modular Tourbillon for £13.50 😁

I'm sure someone in China can supply one for you.

Honestly, I'd go pretty nuts – not insane Patek upmarket nuts, just nuts as in ALL the watches I want today, rather than the couple I'll be able to afford. Maybe over time I'd sell things I didn't wear and consolidate into an AP or PP.

I'm really big into racing chronos and divers, so it'd be mostly that. And mostly modern stuff, my big wrists don't work with most vintage.

Lightly customized:
- Omega Planet Ocean 8500 45.5mm – I'd buy black steel & blue titanium versions, and swap the black dial/date/bezel from the steel onto the titanium for a black titanium PO, then sell the blue steel combo at a loss.

Normal stuff:
- Tudor Pelagos (blue)
- Heuer Autavia 1163 GMT (and maybe other larger vintage Autavias)
- Tag Heuer Monaco (maybe something limited)
- Omega Speedmaster Racing (white)
- IWC Yacht Club (2020)
- Rolex Explorer II 216570
- Bulgari Octo Finissimo, Satin Steel
- Nomos Lambda – as the dress watch

Fun/weird:
- Singer Track 1 Launch Edition
- Ressence Type 5
- Weiss Birdie
- Meistersinger Benjamin Franklin

Clock:
- JLC Atmos Transparente

The rest of the fun money would go into two Porsche 911s – one for daily driving comfort, the other for pure track driving.

If we are including clocks then a JLC Atmos is on my list as is the L'Epee 1839 Time Fast D8 in British Racing Green.

😁 A fake chinese Tourbillon mechanical module? 😲

I have never found counterfeits of the TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45, nor of its modular accessories. Neither straps (or bracelets, or lugs, or buckles) from other manufacturers that are compatible with the exclusive TH Modular system, so all these accessories and modular parts are official from TAG Heuer, and can only be genuine from TAG Heuer 😉

Think we've all planned this in our heads at some point. Obviously you'd want a collection that you'd get to wear:

Gold Lange 1
GO steel PML
Birthyear Datejust 1601
McQueen Monaco calibre 11
Omega Speedy 3594
Omega Ceramic & Titanium 300m Seamaster
Pam 6152/1
Pam 5218-201/a

To coexist with my Tudor BB58, Seiko Arnie & Pam 560

As worn by the Ferrari F1 pilots of the '70s...

Also a Ferrari 288 GTO to go with it. 😀

Nah, I’d just employ someone walk behind me with a watch and my phone, and carry my cash.

Ah, the freedom of the lottery win…

My personality tends to be intensely loyal and I think I always will be to TH, but if I had a lottery win it would likely be these four right now in order…

1) The Men’s Club Monaco - I’m learning Japan may have a special relationship with TH and this watch is striking to me and almost realistic in acquisition.
2) The Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Military 3H Bund - clarity, utility, and Cold War history.
3) The TAG Heuer Mikrogirder 10000 - crazy expensive but I love that Bullhead design, simplicity, and accuracy.
4) I rarely find interest in Omega but I recently stumbled across the “From Moon to Mars” Speedmaster while surfing and it blew me away.

Best, M

Curious that you’re not a big Omega fan and pick that one as the pick of the bunch (From Omega I mean). I’m a huge Omega fan. Got into TH first, then Heuer heritage reissues - which I enjoy just as much. I think the Carrera and the Seedmaster are both stunning watches. I much prefer the classic look Carreras (over most of the modern variants that are too fussy) Though conversely all my Speedies are modern twists on the original (Racing and ‘Of the moon ceramics). Yet of all the variants the Mars one would not be on my Wishlist. I think that’s what’s great about this hobby and collecting. We can all share the same interest but there’s something different that appeals to us. I have a goal to collect all the ‘Of the moon’ ceramic Speedmaster range. Got the White, Blue and Gray. Dark will be next unless the 160th Carrera wows me as much in the metal as it has in pre-release photos. I was a little dissapoibted with this year’s Monaco releases - mostly that I did bit have funds to spare when he ones I liked came out and the rest were a bit bland. But I’ll be keeping an eye on the used Market in future as Monaco, Carrera and Speedy are my go to designs. All amazing classics with such a story and range to choose from.

Completely agree Sir. No judgement and I am still discovering the hobby.

Omega is great with a fine history but, personally, I have a little more inclination towards TH. I certainly, and subjectively, like both brands over Rolex which hits me more as a money interest and favor. Omega is certainly on par with TH and likely even more recognized and followed for good reasons but In the end I like a lot of the models and personality of TH presently.

Would greatly appreciate it if you PMd pics of your white, blue, and greys though if you had time...

I do just enjoying surfing, researching, and discovering all makes, models, and vintages right now. To include the histories, movements, care and repair as well - A great hobby to encompass it all.
