I was wondering today how TAG Heuer measure their case sizes- so here's the answer:
- There is no 100% hard and fast rule
- Usually, the case is measured between 10 and 4 o'clock
- Crown/ guard/ pushers aren't included
- Sizes can be rounded up- 41.6mm will sometimes be classified as a 42mm case..other times (e.g. Monaco 24), the specific size is given (40.5mm)

Hopefully that helps!

You'll find many Carrera calibre 16 and and 1887, the 41mm case, labelled incorrectly as 42mm by sellers.
