Hy,

bought tag heuer today with no papers. I am not into tag heuer so can not determinate how old is this watch. Can you help?

Info about when this model was produced would be something. Thank you

From memory that range was from the late 00s / early 10s.

I am reading about model and caliber 16. At first to me it looks authentic but I see on google that rotor is not same as on this watch. Can you please tell me if I have made "mistake" buying?

My older model is CAF2110 too. It has smaller 41mm case and no day complication. Reviewed here:

I find it strange if the different watch had the same model number. Pushers are different on the newer model as well.

This blog entry says that day-date is CAH2110.

Now I see. I made mistake. Its model CAF2011 and not caf2110.

That mistake is understandable as most watch sites label this model as CAF2010.

Look at this for example.

But my 41mm older model has that ref.number too. See here:

CAF2010 is black with day/date
CAF2011 is white with day/date (that is what I have)


That is all I have found out till now.

That's interesting. That means the model number stayed the same from 41mm to 45mm transformation. The size changed, the pushers changed and TAG added a day complication.

My old model is definitely CAF2110 too. Here you can see a Youtube video of it.

What is Xref: W1633?

your with date only is CAF2110, my with day/date is CAF2011 (black model is CAF 2010).

Model numbers are not same.


W1633.......probably store inventory number. Has nothing to do with Tag Heuer.

Yes you're correct. Boy do I feel stupid and illiterate now.

2110, not 2010 of course.

Numbers have always been my weak spot. I can't even remember my own mobile phone number. Haha.

Either way, I'll add the new day-date model picture and model number to my review now.
