How long does new in box E4 Connected last on shelf b4 damaging battery?

My wife bought me a new TAG Porsche E4 Connected for Christmas.
I'm happy to wait to open it on Christmas.
How long does a new in box purchase last on the shelf b4 damaging battery?
Does my wife need to open now and charge it?

I don’t know the exact answer, depends on how much charge was in the battery to start I guess. However as it’s such a new model you will be fine waiting until Xmas fie sure.if worst happens it’s under warranty anyway but you will be fine waiting.
