Hello everyone,
I am looking for information on my vintage estimate late 1950's early1960's Chrono.
I believe its a 2444 I will take pictures tonight. I want to get the watch repaired I am based in England so if any one could recomend a trusted repairer please? The case has marks consistent with its ages its a gold plated case with a gold face and probably 20 years ago a local repairer fixed the watch (confirmed model age and authenticity to me) but one of the chrono hand has since fallen off and is loose on the face.
I also wanted to know what type of leather strap it would have had as once repaired serviced I will probably sell her so any Idea on valuation, I will attach pictures tomorrow.
Many thanks
Heur 2444

Hi,

Yes, the earlier versions of the 2444 family had "12" at the 12 o'clock position, with later models picking up the double hour-markers. Here is a page from the 1959 Catalogue- appears to have the same hands as yours.

Your watch is Ref 2445- has the Valjoux 72 movement.
