Can anyone tell me if this is an actual Heuer, and find the model? My father in law was a watchmaker, and his father in law before him was as well. I found this on his bench-no idea if it is authentic, a copy, age etc. I have been through the catalogs and I am unable to find an exact match.

 

I spent a couple of minutes looking through the catalogs from the 1950s into the 1970s, and couldn't find an exact match . . . but it looks authentic to me.

As a general matter, we don't see many fakes of the stopwatches, as the values of the old stopwatches generally do not make it worthwhile to make the fakes.
