Hello experts!
Can anyone tell me anything about this watch? Yes, I know, poor condition.

But on the plus side:
it keeps time perfectly;
date, day, and month advance as expected; bottom second dial moves flawlessly.

On the negative side:
dates along outer rim can't be seen;
green hour & minute hands do not glow (tritium?);
severely scratched crystal.

Any information would be appreciated:
Age? Model? Value? Should it be cleaned? If so, what would be a fair price and what is the best process?

Thanks in advance!

Have you tied some polywatch on the crystal to get some of the scratches out? That would be my first port of call.
The hands look like they’ve been relumed with luminova - the green isn’t very appealing.

If you intend on keeping it, a service by a good independent watchmaker would be a good idea. I’d get the hands relumed in a yellow shade at the same time. Don’t go crazy on a restoration though as the condition will never be great.

Some better pictures would help further evaluation

Thanks, David, for your insight and recommendations. I don't think the hands have been re-lumed as this was my father's watch and I remember the green hands glowing back in the 60's. Do you or anyone else out there have an idea about this model's name or age? There is a number on the case: 94270
