I finally got around to taking my 1000m Diver down to the watchmaker today to get a new bezel fitted. It's been without a bezel for the last year or so and sat unworn in a drawer...great to have this beauty back.

While I've got both the Jubilee bracelet and a NOS Tropic rubber strap, it's most wearable on a simple NATO.

Looks great with the new bezel DC! The watch looks to be in great condition, as does the jubilee bracelet. Congrats on restoring such a nice watch!

Thanks guys. It's the Alpha male of the 1000 range...but take a look how small it is next to an Aquaracer!

It's a beauty for sure-great condition. Where on Earth did you find a new bezel? They're like hen's teeth found only at the end of the rainbow normally!

I have one on the way.....only a lowly TH model though. ;-)

It came up on eBay about a year ago, so I grabbed it. Thought I could change the bezel myself, but no! That’s why it’s been sitting without a bezel for so long..lack of skill!
