Help to identify vintage Heuer stopwatch

Hi.

I found this old stopwatch in some boxes from my grandfather, but it looks like he tried to "fix" it at some point and broke some parts. The crown wheel is missing, the crown wheel core screw is broken off, and the hairspring is deformed.

Can anyone help me identify the model and please tell me if it's possible to get some spare parts. I think it's from the 1940s.

Best regards
Thomas

1940’s is a good call and a quick check in the catalogues appears to show it in the 1942 catalogue and as a model reference 961 as pictured below;

You can find more catalogues on www.onthedash.com although I think this is pretty much a match for yours.

As for parts you’ll need to check which movement it’s based on, and with the model reference you may be able to google and find out.
