I personally can identify:
1. Rolex GMT Master II Pepsi bezel
2. Genta-esque case
3. Panerai arabic numerals on the dial and Panerai crown guard
4. IWC Schaffhausen writing on dial

Also identifiable:

A unique piece, the Swiss Icons watch has the bezel of a GMT Master II shoehorned into a Royal Oak shape, a dial that's a mashup of Panerai and Patek (the Nautilus) a Hublot case, a Panerai-esque crown guard, and a tourbillon under a Girard-Perregaux type golden bridge.

I'm a bit upset that H. Moser didn't add a 45mm case, skeleton dial, and rubber strap to add some TAG Heuer DNA into the watch.

Well the CEO statement does reach out to Tag Heuer and many other brands, quoting:
"...Reinforcing their efforts with prestigious events and paying ambassadors who have no links to watchmaking; these tactics are just artifice that serve as smoke and mirrors..."

Some manager at Moser had to be drunk to let this thing see daylight!

By the way, there's a video launched on Instagram, where they continue with the diatribe.
There's a hit of Alec Monopoly in it.

That is a massive swipe at Tag - the characters in that video are Alex Monopoly, Jack Heuer, plus the various sports and celebrity endorsers. The watch they've produced completely undermines any point they were trying to make, though!

Funny, I see a whole lot of TAG in it....

Of course, this was probably coincidental as they were going for a Rolex GMT bezel shaped like the Royal Oak's octagonal bezel.

Then again, TAG looks to have done this without coincidence or irony....

The other thing that makes absolutely no sense about that video is that it makes a big thing about how the cost of a watch from Tag and other Swiss brands is only a tiny fraction of the total spend of the company, and implies the majority of their budget goes on ambassadors and marketing. So, if Moser aren't doing that, why are their watches so much more expensive than those other Swiss brands?! 😵‍💫

I've just read the article over at Deployant which contained quite a few photographs. Piss take or not, this thing is horrendous and I don't think it does any favours to HM&C. It just makes them look like petulant kids.

I pity the fool that buys this thing at auction.

Indeed. One thing to make a joke, another to spend actual cash on this thing.

Oops. Someone actually messed up slightly here...
Haha I wonder who sent their lawyers and muscle power to force them to stop it 😁

I've never heard of an H. Moser brand ambassador, or seen any advertisement for them other than their escapades poking fun at the industry. (I don't pay much attention to this segment of the market though, so would appreciate examples of such if there are any) The YouTube video of this one, as well as the previous videos of the Swiss Cheese watch and the Apple watch one aren't exactly stuffed with expensive production quality either, so it seems like not much money is being spent there.

Their watches are all made with precious metals, and I'm willing to bet that each is handmade from start to finish - or at the very least, with a lot more personal attention and effort paid to them than is possible with a larger manufacture. I have no reservation in saying that there's a lot more value in a $15,000 H. Moser & Cie watch than a $3,000 - $6,000 TAG with a Sellita movement, or a $5000 one with a movement originally engineered by Seiko

I'm not too sure if someone actually sent their team of very well-payed and angry lawyers after Moser, but more like they understood themselves that their "guerilla marketing" didn't really work out as planned this time.

Maybe they never intended to make it and this was all just a marketing ploy?
