new to posting on forum. i recently acquired a kirium automatic chronometer, near perfect condition. also have an older SEL. i don't see much talked about either one of them. the SEL is probably one of the most comfortable watches i have owned. getting used to the difference from a quartz to an automatic watch. weight specifically. thta being said are these watches something to hold onto. personally i like both of them.

Well if you like them, off course you should keep them! Watch collecting is about happiness for yourself, who cares about what we think 馃憤

What matters is if you like them.

The kirium is not the most popular watch now, the design is very different to current fashion and looks quite 90s, so you don't see many - online or on the wrist. If you like it, who cares! Personally I like the retro charm, it's one of the first TH watches I saw, so has always stuck in my mind.

Be careful if you have just switched to an automatic, it's easy to mess up the time keeping with magnetism, so keep it away from your ipad case.

Kirium and SE/L are pretty much very good watches! Great design, comfortable bracelet, good timekeeping / quartz. 馃槈

After a thorough ~2 decades, they still are very pleasant to look at and a joy to own! 馃榾 If it sings to you 馃槜, then it's a go 馃憤

Welcome here, bosmod !

I also joined recently and felt that that the S/el is under-discussed, but fear not ! Use the 'search' function and you will find some interesting threads and pictures.

I have a great interest in watches from the 'TAG' period ( 1985-1999 ) and love my S/els. If they were good enough for Ayrton Senna, they're good enough for me.......::rimshot::
