I have also one, but, its a pety, only on my harddisc but anyways only 2 registers ;-)
went for EUR 22K in sept 2013 at antiquorum

Couple of things I'd add after this auction. There have been several sales "off line" in this prixe range, from memory £35k is the record which was for a non all lume example, albeit mint. The value of the beat of the best all lume would be more of course. Not a flash in the pan, this watch imo trumps pretty much all vintage watches, and deserves its ranking amongst other brands/refs. For me (and have one of each screw back case Autavia) it is the most amazing of all. Each execution has its merits but its not until you own a 1st exec and wear one that you can understand its appeal.

Could be...but unlikely.

TAG Heuer did buy a few watches in the well publicised 2010 Bonhams auction- but I'd be surprised if this one linked back to TAG Heuer.

May make sense to push up the value of the Monaco and Carrera given those models stay in the collection, but hard to see the incentive behind a one-off Autavia sale.

I reckon there's a fair chance we'll hear more about the buyer...give it a couple of weeks
