Yes, it seems so. Maybe it’s time to look for a good smartwatch module alone (there are usually some for sale at ebay and in our Marketplace, head only, obviously at better prices than a complete watch) to swap yours I don’t know if your AD could offer a repair for that issue (changing the screen?). If you ask them, please inform us about the answer
Hi I have reached out to Tag on Twitter and they have told me to speak with an official service centre, I have just spoken with them and they say that they can send it to Tag and they will give a price to fix it and if I don't want to pay the price then I just pay for postage cost. I'll keep you informed in the thread.
Just taken another photo but with a pure white screen with not hands, numbers of text. It looks awful
So I bought another head unit off eBay with a black bezel and it still had the screen protector on it from new My original one's serial number ended in 30N and the new one 14K anyone know if this actually means anything?

The serial number shows you when the watch was made: the first number after “AN1380HR” shows the year (6= 2016, 7= 2017...), and the two following figures show in which week of that year it was made. For instance, the module I bought -also brand new- to keep it as a spare head unit, was made the 25th week of 2017
