Does anyone have an idea of the value of this watch

I have a Tag Heuer on the dial it says 1000 professional 200 metres, the strap isn't original it's a silicon one that I have added,I know the watch was purchased around 1986/1987,it's in used condition and has normal wear expected of a watch this age,I don't suppose it would be the most popular watch in a black finish.
If anyone could advise me to it's value, that would be much appreciated as I would like to sell it but not sure of the best place to do that

I'd say priceless for the one who loves it. 馃榾

That said, I suggest searching for this model on the typical second market watch auction sites, to see what others like it have sold for before.

Valuation is always hard on vintage pieces as the range is significant.

I'd go for between $300-450 for this model, but as Hubert says best is to have a check around for other mid-sized Tag Heuer 1000 series divers. The Heuer models get a better premium of a couple hundred, as do the larger 42mm versions and as do certain dials/bezels/cases/movements, so all are factors.

also this is the largest size tag heuer did in this model.

It is lilly. In my post I mentioned the larger sizes as likely anyone trying to value their watch will have to look for similar models pricing as finishing the exact same one will be hard. When doing so it needs to be the mid-size models only (not the jumbo 42mm) and a full lume dial will get a bit more than the standard black and the list goes on as to what is more/less desirable.
