Delaying issues Formula 1/ Calibre 16 Watch

Hi,

Six months ago I bought an F1 watch (automatic) , but now it has a problem of delaying (3 minutes per day!) when before it was of around 1 minute per week!.

What should I do? I feel bad because the watch is not cheap.

Hello, @rick007. Welcome to the forum.

It may need a service? I had an Autavia that was gaining a lot of time per day (and it wasn’t magnetized). Had to send it for service.

Hope it all works out.

Welcome to the forum, I assume the watch is automatic?
You need to start sleeping at night old man. Not knowing that a calibre 16 is an automatic is the first sign of brain turning retard from lack of sleep.

Try demagnetizing it before you pay for a service, you can google how to do it and find cheap tools on amazon for it.

How old is the watch?

Last but not least, yes we need to see some photos of that beauty of yours!

Doesn't say Calibre 16 in the original post and he's since edited it to include the word automatic. 😒

It said so in the title (non edited), that's where we all picked up on it being a Cal 16.
