Has anyone here ever removed or had removed the cyclops on their watch? I dont find them useful or ascetically pleasing. I think i would enjoy looking at my 2 Aquaracers more without it
It would be interesting to know how hot you have to get the glue for it to come off. Pretty sure I saw a video on YT where someone did this, I expected them to take the crystal out first but they didn't!
Presumably 70+ degrees, there’s not been any stories of cyclopses falling off watches that have been left in hot cars.
True! Hot enough to damage the bezel I would have thought? Or maybe it doesn't need to be that hot but you have to pull the cyclops off?
I’m mostly worried about marking the lume on the dial on mine, but I guess there’s a reasonable chance you would unstick the bezel ceramic too. Really you want to do it with the glass out
you guys mean to tell me it is not as easy as flicking it off with a fingernail and then just washing the crystal
