Yes, for sure it’s not the real price vs cost of the lugs! It's just a “strategic price” to balance the total price of the whole Modular watch, knowing that you can’t do anything if you buy a mechanical module but you don’t have the lugs! 😉
Hey Albert, you'll be excited to learn that I tried on the Connected for the first time yesterday, expect an 'On the Wrist' post very soon!
41mm...
🤔 I found the 41 too small when I tried it, so I bought the 45... if next time you test the 45, maybe you would write a more positive review 😀
I actually said the 45 may carry the thickness better.
Yes, you don’t need to buy extra lugs to use any of the mechanical modules: you just switch the smartwatch module for the mechanical module, it’s a “plug-and-play” system... just some of us bought additional lugs (I bought the black ceramic lugs and the rose gold lugs to join my initial titanium lugs) to have more combos! 😁
But -first of all- you must own a complete TAG Heuer Connected Modular watch to use its lugs, strap, and buckle with the mechanical module. If you don’t previously own the TH CM watch and you buy just the mechanical module, then you need to buy the lugs (very expensive), strap, and buckle as accessories... so it’s better to buy (1) a complete TH Connected Modular watch + mechanical module instead of (2) the mechanical module + lugs + strap + buckle... the total amount is very similar in both cases, but with (1) you get the smartwatch module in addition!

D Dave0303hi, I’m new to this Forum , I have a41 and a couple of straps but one set of Lugs , how easy is it to change the Lug form the titanium strap please ?
Thank you
Hi Dave, and welcome!
It’s really easy to change the lugs from the bracelet and straps. This videos will help you to assemble and disassemble all the modular parts

D Dave0303thank you so much, it was simple. The watch was a gift and I did not want to force anything potentially damaging it.
I wanted to get one whilst I still could, I hope to pick up some more accessories in due course if available
Great! 👍
Yes, the accessories will still be available through the AD and TH shops. You can download the full TAG Heuer Trade Catalog here (59 MB), and you will find there all the available accessories for the Connected Modular 41, with part numbers:

When you order straps for the 41, be careful because there is one short version (mainly for women) and a long version, which is usually for men
I've found it very difficult to buy a Titiumum Strap for my Connected 41. Only had the watch 12 months before they discontinued it along with the accessories. I figured that the rubber straps wouldn't last very long and wouldn't be able to buy them going forward. I tried all TAG stores, outlets and dealerships (UK) but without success. Finally I contacted TAG customer services and they located me one. Might be an idea for anyone else struggling to find accessories for discontinued watches.

I don’t understand why I have no problem at all to order and buy these accessories in my usual AD in Barcelona, while you don’t find them in UK... 😕
