Connected 45 new material for rubber straps?

I own the red and the blue rubber straps. While they are ok there's nothing really amazing about them.

But today my yellow one just arrived. The material is soooo much different than the other 2. Smother, more flexible, a LOT more pleasant to touch.

Did they change the material or am I imagining things? Could it be just because is new? I just can't remember being so impressed when I bought the other 2.

So it kinda felt a bit heavier so I went and dropped them on the kitchen scale. What do you know, more than 50% increase in weight too!

I have to say, the new strap looks and feels a LOT nicer than my old ones. now I'm gonna have to reorder the old colours ;-(
