I'm interested in what people think about Clubhouse. Another time-hole that will take over your life? Would it give us anything more than a forum, given that it's audio only?

I was wondering whether a Calibre 11 room would be interesting, where the focus was discussing each new model...maybe could get people from TAG Heuer to join and tell us a bit about it?

All feedback welcome!

Assuming you mean a clubhouse room where non Tag Heuer threads could be filed, I like it.
Some good folks on here and would be nice to bring other subjects to the table.
Like Hifi!

I like the idea 👍
Very hot right now so I don’t know if it’s feasible though.

Perhaps good for some, but it's not really my thing.
Same here really. I have too many apps and things already - beginning to feel a bit overwhelmed with technology. Like it's running my life rather than me being in charge! 😀

I’m not aware of it. So I can’t really comment. How about we try “ZOOM” first 😁😜

Seriously though I have not heard about this before. Guess I needs to do me some of that research and understand what this Clubhouse thing is.

Seems to be the next new thing that nobody asked for 😀

I've seen a couple of these type of apps now - you can have live conversations or podcasts and others can join in with questions. Kind of like interactive radio. I've also seen another app that pairs you with random strangers. Had to remove that one from my daughter's phone!

Serious point... I think the trouble with audio only is that it isn't easy to scan for the information or content you want to consume. It's slower to listen than to read, and some people like the sound of their own voice too much.

Gents, I agree with you. I’m going to try listening to a few sessions out out of curiosity, but I don’t (yet!) see why this is creating such a buzz.

It's indeed like a live podcast/ted talk. So pretty straightforward and no interference from users. Old school radio but with an abundance of topics. The tech or idea isn't new but the platform allows you to browse topics based on your interests.

Exactly. That's why I don't care for such audio based social media.

Just another thing we don't need that is 'trending' and worth $10billion even though it's all theoretical, and then next week it's worth nothing.
