Christmas is coming and since me and my wife have already bought everything to the kids its time to be selfish. Lets use this opportunity to write down our wishlist for Christmas, when we are ready David @Calibre11 can print it and send it to Santa, right?

In January it is of course expected that everyone shares their photos for everyone to enjoy the new gifts 😎

So I can go first. This year for Christmas I will get myself one of these beauties:

Tudor Black Bay 41 (79540)

Tag Heuer Aquaracer (WAY2012)

Hmm, I was thinking of maybe treating myself with a leather strap and original buckle for my Autavia. The TH Ostrich leather is really nice and I was actually considering buying the watch on leather strap at first point. It's also somewhat reasonable priced with strap+original buckle for around €200.

(Image borrowed from the great internet archives).

Or maybe go with something else, the watch seems to fit quite good with most strap options in my honest opinion.

(This one from Hodinkee looks very nice).

But if anyone has a good option that looks like the Monaco Calibre11 racing strap, please give me a shoutout! 21mm seems quite tricky to find, and since Heuerville have approximatley 4 months of delivery time I'd prefer to find some alternative.

^ get yourself a custom made strap from combat-straps or heuerville - costs less then OEM or those standard things you find on the web and you get to customize it at will.

I had never heard of combat-straps before, so thank you so much for that! It seems like they'll be able to customise a Calibre 11 racing strap and ship it within a fair amount of time. Have you tried any (or both) of them before and prefer one over the other?

I have tried both on several occasions, and rate them as outstanding.
Each have their own line of materials - depends on what you prefer.
Heuerville is more on the "vintage" look.
Combat-strap has a rich offering of materials.

Thanks a lot for the update! I'll make sure to send them both an email and get some more information on them!

Hi everyone, i was thinking to start new thread for this but this thread seems fitting to for the question i am about to ask.

After all it's involve watch buying.

Recently my watch mojo seems really low. I am still checking watch articles and stuff on free time and never miss a single day without opening this forum still. But i just don't have any appetite to check out what watch to buy.

Then come sunday when i need to spent most of the day at the hospital. Looking after ill relative. I got nothing to do so i began to read mostly about independent brands.

Then i realized i had old unfinished love about this brand called Itay Noy. And the best thing about it is that they have AD in here so i can check the watch directly instead of just looking at the screen.

The model that i am looking for is Itay Noy X-Ray. There are not much about it on the internet. Ablogtowatch covered it before but thats about it.

The predicament i am facing is that i want the right on the picture (attached)
But they only have the left one on the picture

Both watch are powered by manual ETA6498-1 and ETA6497-1 i dont know which one is which (maybe someone can point it out for me from the enamel x-ray of the dial ?)

They are not cheap. So it is unlikely i will settle for the one they have. The sales told me that they gonna see if i can place the purchase order for the gold colored dial one and inform me later.

What do you guys think ?

Which one of these 2 is sexier ?

This is the perfect example of buyer's remorse.
Buy it today and we'll talk again in three months time.
