Real nice. You've got good taste for a young fella. Enjoyed following your journey making this a reality.
It feels good doesn't it. My first was my Heuer logged Black Monza back a few years now but I cherished that watch for many years until I got enough money to buy a few more niceties.
I have the original Blue dial Monaco re-edition (right hand crown) but am trying to find a reasonably priced 40th Anniversary model to add to my collection.

Anyway, congrats on the new watch and the 21st Birthday.
I was 12 when the 40th anniversary model came out and it drove me nuts! I NEEDED a vintage looking Monaco. Thank god I now have one!

Marcus, it's probably worth trying to see if you can acquire the correct Calibre 11 manual and the blue box that should have come with that watch.

Actually after extensive research I can confirm that the blue box was discontinued in 2017 and all calibre 11 Monacos now come with the brown HEUER box you see here. As for the manual I'm pretty sure it's correct. Every other 2018 calibre 11 I've seen online includes it. I can confirm with 100 percent certainty that my watch is new and untouched. Still miss the old box though!

Yes, that's been discussed on here recently as well. The blue box was only for an initial period of the original release.

It doesn't need extensive research, just an email to Tag Heuer. All the Calibre 11 watches I've seen (including mine) come with the correct Calibre 11 manual and not Calibre 12.

@marcushogan37 congratulations and a very fine piece to start your journey with. Certainly one of the best reeditions!!

I wish I’d bought the 1133G that was up for auction the other week that went for under $6k. Just I know I’d have been hung, drawn and quartered if I had.

So the question is what’s next? 25 is an important birthday too, as is 26, 27......::stirthepot::

Ah yes I've been firmly bitten by the watch bug! A classic co axial Seamaster would be nice as would a Submariner. A Nautilus in solid platinum wouldn't be bad either although I'd need to save for several lifetimes in order to afford one!! (unless I go ahead with my plan of marrying a celebrity!!!!!!)

Haha, I know the feeling, but the Monaco is a wonderful place to start! Personally, I can't decide if I should place the Calibre11 or new Gulf highest on my wishlist...😉

Have to say the current Autavia with the "rice" bracelet is orgasmic. I'm a hardcore car nut too so the racing pedigree is really appealing

The new Autavia is absolutely stunning! My first more expensive watch, but definitely not my last TAG!

Was a really close call between your watch and a Monaco

A sub is a classic and one that is high up for next in my collection. A classic Speedmaster is also in there.
Currently I’ve stuck to Heuers with only one Omega Aqua Terra......but cars take too much of my money my wife tells me!!

Both are a similar type of watch, chronograph sports watches, but at the same time so different. I'm sure you'll get something like the Autavia one day just as I'm sure to get a Monaco at some point.
