Are there any TH chronographs with a centre second, or is that always reserved for the chronograph function?

I think center second chronographs were an oddity in the '40s/ '50s but can't recall hearing of one past maybe the early '60s

Could it be he meant an automatic chrono instead of quartz ?

Not sure if I’m getting the meaning of “Center seconds chronograph”. Monaco, Carrera, Aquaracer and the Autavia have chronograph function models but still have a centre seconds hand.

So those models you listed, the time seconds is a sub dial, not centre second hand. The centre seconds hand is the chronograph seconds hand. (excuse my terminology if that's not accurate, but does this make sense?)

Yep makes sense, and never really thought about it before, so quite an interesting question and certainly something I would actually prefer.👍

Could be, but he didn't say that... and does it make a difference, can you think of any quartz ones with a centre second?
Apart from the Calibre S of course...😀

Me too, especially on an automatic.
