CARRERA HEUER 01 CHRONOGRAPH 12 HOUR COUNTER

Good afternoon. I'm new to the world of Tag Heuer and have a Carrera Heuer 01. Very pleased with the watch but have noticed that the chronograph 12 hour counter continues to function with the chronograph switched off. The other chronograph counters work fine. I'm sure this isn't correct? Does anyone have experience of this model? Thank you for your help.

This phenomenon is known as "chrono creep" and suggests your watch needs to go in for service.
