Hi Have the following Carrera with alligator strap and deployant clasp FC 5037-0 Problem is that the strap keeps slipping in the clasp and needs to be readjusted Any ideas? I'm not averse to replacing the strap if that'll solve the problem. If so, please advise good strap maker Thanks so much
Is it the correct strap for that clasp? I believe there are a couple of options due to different thicknesses of strap I think, too slim and it won’t be gripped tight enough.

My wrist is very thin. Could it be that the inner part of the strap is advancing too much (past the folded clasp)?
Could the strap be dried out and thin, in that place you wan’t it to grip, try fitting it on an unused area(even if too big) and see if the clasp holds better, some neutral shoe leather polish/conditioner on the strap or wife says some hand cream! to feed the leather and make it swell a little . Cliutching at straws I think now.
