·I've noticed I can't get the clasp to shut properly on both sides on my AR with rubber clasp and deployant FC 5040. It's usually one side that bites when you press it down while the other side remains loose. You can tell because the pusher on one side has not tension and when you move it around the side that hasn't locked lifts up and down. The lock on the side that bites seems secure enough, I've been wearing it a couple of days and it hasn't come off but obviously I would prefer having both sides actually lock as they are designed to.
It's really annoying because when it gets like this I can't just press down on the side that hasn't locked and push it into place. I need to remove the whole thing and try a few times until it locks on both sides which is maddening. Even putting a finger under the strap and pressing with the finger and thumb to force the clasp to lock doesn't work.
I'd appreciate any help on this. I don't know if it's a common issue or a problem with my clasp. It seems aligned ok and it's easier to close it when it's not on my wrist but it's still not a very smooth action and still sometimes requires more than one try to close properly
