The movement has two barrels and two escapements - the standard timekeeping one is automatic only and beats at 28,800 bph (4Hz), while the chronograph is manual wind only and beats at 360,000 bph (50Hz). At ten times the frequency of movements like the El Primero (36,000 bph, 5Hz), it has COSC precision of 1/100th of a second. In fact, the chronograph central second hand spins once every second - it's truly something to behold.
