Hi,

I have a Heuer Autavia and I'm looking for help in identifying the specific variation. It has a cal12 movement inside and has 1163 between the lugs(no V) the serial number is 223972. I think it might be a Mk5? Is there anything unusal about this configuration. I've been on a few sites and its quite confusing. so I thought I'd reach out to a forum. Thanks in advance for anyone taking the time to answer.

Kind regards,
Jeff

Hi, it's a standard 1163 from about 1971. The layout is identical to the Viceroy other than not having the 'V' after the serial number, so it's considered to be essentially the same. It wouldn't be considered an 1163MH Mk5 because of the 1-12 markings in the hour recorder, instead of the MH models' 3-6-9-12.
